Boy Scouts from Wichita spent Friday night camped out at Corona Station last week. Saturday morning they rode on a train from Corona to Pittsburg then spent the day at the museum. During their visit each of the scouts had an op- portunity to build an HO model train car which they kept.

Thinking about doing a Scarecrow for Columbus Day?The Columbus Day committee is preparing for it 26th scarecrow contest to be held during the Columbus Day Festival and Hot Air Balloon Regatta. Last year, visitors to the festival strolled down Maple Street to view some 14 scarecrow creations.
