The Baxter Springs Lions hit big when they traveled to Altamont, Thursday night. The Labette County Grizzles started the big hits with a homer in the first inning.
The Lions got on base in the second with Henry Riley and Pierce Stolte getting walked. Brayden Barnard hit a double with runners on base to bring Riley and Stolte in safely. Then the big hits started flying.
