The Baxter Springs Lions Club will be receiving a new recycling bin. This bin will be used to collect plastic bags, such as grocery store sacks, newspaper sacks, and clean Ziploc bags.
For every 500 pounds of recycled plastic, the recycling company is able to make a park bench. The Lions Club has a goal of 500 pounds by November 2021.
