Weather in 1911 was hot

Locally, folks are enjoying mild temperatures as June begins but in 1911 during the first ten days of June nine of the days were over 95 degrees. On June 2, 1911 the heat spell began with a 98 degree high as the temperatures then edged up to 107 by June 10. The 107 degree day was just one degree below the all-time high for June set on June 18 in 1918. ...
