Columbus first became a town in 1868, and has been around for 135 years. My parents didn’t grow up in Columbus. My mom grew up in Carl Junction, and my dad grew up in Washington, but then moved to Neosho, to finish out high school. Still, me and my brother get to grow up in such a unique community.
