This giant Pin Oak was the topic of discussion at Monday night’s Columbus City Council meeting after a letter to the editor pointed out the danger of the tree over the road. Columbus City Police put road blocks on South Minnesota Street between Pine and Elm in case the tree fell. The City Council voted to have the tree removed.
