  • The second part of the construction project will be at the Columbus Unified High School with an additional building replacing a highly inefficient century old building that will be demolished. The classrooms for seventh and eighth grade students will be separated from the high school students.

    With the passage of the $14.75 million bond issue A new wing will be added at the Columbus High School to accommodate the seventh grade students. The classroom wing will be built where the former arts and industrial arts building has stood for nearly 100 years. Both the seventh and eighth grade students will be moved to the high school when Highland School will be closed....
