The Columbus Lady Titan Wrestlers celebrated their senior, Brooklyn Collingsworth, during their final regular season, home dual, Thursday, at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium. Brooklyn won her match by fall over Mylee Miller in the final bout of the night.

The Columbus Titan 2026 Winter Homecoming contest with the visiting St. Mary’s-Colgan Panthers was a tale of two halves that ended in a 30-point, 48-78 loss for the home team.Throughout the first eight minutes the teams remained close with the largest lead for the visitors was five points.

The Columbus Titans picked up a big non-conference win over St. Paul, Thursday, in a filler game that replaced the Lamar, Mo. contest that was canceled in January. The Titans breezed to the win, 72-56.Junior, Kooper Saiz, kicked off the scoring and Columbus took control early.

Lady Titans hold off Lady Indians for road win

The Columbus Lady Titans held off a fourth quarter charge by the St. Paul Lady Indians to take the non-conference win, 35-31, in St. Paul, Thursday. The game was added after the Lamar, Mo. game was canceled in January.

Big fourth quarter earns win for 8A Titans

The Columbus Junior High 8A Team poured in 14, fourth quarter points to get past a visiting Girard Trojan Team, 38-32, on their home court, January 29, at the Central School Gymnasium.The Trojans jumped out to an early start with five players scoring one basket.

Mini wrestlers earn medals at Pitt

Six Columbus Wresting Club Mini Wrestlers brought home the gold from the Pittsburg Youth Wrestling Tournament, Sunday. Three Lady Titans, Ivy Anderson, 10U 90-100; Abigail Luna, 12U 180; and Raelee Engroff, 14U 119, each captured first place in their respective age/weight classes.

CUHS wrestlers sweep home duals

The Titans gave up two wins by forfeit and one match win in their 6318 team win over Parsons, January 29, at the Columbus High School Gymnasium. The Vikings forfeited six matches to the home team.Columbus completed the sweep with a 60-11 win over Cherryvale.
