Columbus Wrestling Club hosts annual Ken Jones Classic
Three members of the Columbus Unified High School Vocal Music Department were successful with auditions for the Kansas State Chorus. The Lady Titans were selected to represent their school in a performance with the State Band in February. Piper Hayes and Jacianna Heflin were chosen for the Mixed Choir and India Daniels was selected to the Treble Choir. They are being recognized as Titans of the Week.

Titan Junior, Carter Woodcock had the lone threepoint basket for Columbus in their 38-73 loss in Riverton, December 19. Wookcock made this three over the outstreatched arm of junior, Aydin Witherspoon.
Rams dominate in CNC win over Titans
Long-time Columbus Titan Wrestling Coach, Ken Jones, was recognized during the local tournament that bears his name, the Ken Jones Classic, December 14, at the CUHS Gymnasium. In addition to the host of Columbus Wrestling Club current and past members, Ken was flanked by his sister, Karen Bowman, wife, Barbara, and daughter Ellen Lewis. (Not pictured are grand-daughter, Katherine Lewis, grandson, Kenneth Lewis, and son-in-law, Brad Lewis.
