Columbus hosts girls Jamboree

The Lady Titan 8A Team swept both games in the jamboree held at the Central School Gymnasium, Saturday. Columbus beat Northeast, 30-8 in the first game of the day and topped New Heights, 2918, in game two.

Lady Titans split at New Heights

The Columbus Junior High Lady Titan Basketball Team split a night on the courts at New Heights Christian School in Joplin, Mo, November 8. The Lady Titan 7A Team won 14-11 but New Heights edged Columbus in the combined 8/7 A Team, 27-24.

Lady Titans open wrestling season

The Columbus Junior High Girls Wrestling season kicked off with a scramble at Pittsburg, Tuesday. Teams participating were Pittsburg, Frontenac, Girard, Parsons, Ft. Scott, Independence, Chanute, Labette County, and Columbus. The Lady Titans came away with 10 wins by fall and five by decision.

The Columbus Junior High Wrestling and Girls Basketball Teams are in full swing as they plan to complete their schedule of games/matches before the Christmas break.Lady Titan Basketball is hosting a jamboree, tomorrow, along with three home games and two road dates before the Thanksgiving break.

Cal Saporito, a Columbus Unified High School Senior, split his time on the gridiron for the Columbus Titan Football Team and the back of some wild bulls this fall as he competed in the American Youth Rodeo Association.

CJHS Basketball on the courts

The Columbus Lady Titan Junior High Squad has a total of nine games under their belt in the 2025 season.Columbus lost three games at Galena in their season opener, October 28. The 8A Team suffered a four point loss, 13-17. Kip Sapoito led the scoring with five.
