Titan Senior, Jayden Rodriguez, scored his seventh touchdown of the season in the final regular season game of his high school career, leading the Titans to a 14-12 win over Parsons in their Kansas Class 3A, District 1 finale. He is being recognized at Titan of the Week.

The Columbus Titans completed their 2025 regular season on a high note with a road win in Parsons, Friday, 14-12. The final match up of the Kansas Class 3A, District 1 teams was settled by a difference in Points-After-Touchdown.
Titan Junior, Braun Stone, had 25 tackles, 13 solo and 12 assisted in the 14-12, Class 3A, District 1 win at Parsons, Friday night. Braun leads the team in tackles with 113 tackles, 71 solo and 42 assisted in addition to three tackles for loss. Offensively he leads the team with 302 yards rushing on 79 carries.

Junior High winter sports begin today

Columbus Junior High kicks off their girls basketball season and wrestling seasons today.The Lady Titan Basketball Team opens on the road in Galena today at 4:30 p.m.Their next three games are on the road, Monday at Baxter Springs, 4:30 p.m., Tuesday at New Heights at 6 p.m.

CNC football post season brackets

Several upsets including Columbus taking out Parsons and Baxter Springs knocking off Galena made the football contest interesting this week. The players all missed several of the games.

Lady Lancers win one in triangular

Southeast played their regular season tournament in Neodesha, October 11 and a triangular in Arma with Northeast and Marmaton Valley, October 16.The Lady Lancers were 1-5 at Neodesha Tournament with their lone win coming against Erie in an extended play close battle, 27-25; 25-21.

Post season continues for Southeast Volleyball

The Southeast Lady Lancers, 13-24, won two of three matches in the Kansas Class 2A Regional post season tournament to advance to the next level, the Region 2 Sub State 1 bracket. Southeast entered the 16-team tournament as the 13th seed.

Columbus Lady Titan Golf competed as a team in the 2025 Kansas Class 3-21A State Tournament for the first time since the early 2000’s and came away with a fifth place finish in the team standings.
