Baxter Springs Mayor and Kiwanis Club President, Kelly Abbott was making sure there was plenty of cotton candy for those attending the Light Up the Sky Celebration in Baxter Springs Friday.A reception is planned for Mike and Mary Ann Horgan July 14 in honor of their 60th wedding anniversary.
A 91st birthday party was held for Wanda Tilman. The party was thrown by her daughters Debra Messer, Brenda Qualls, and Kathy Hess. A large crowd turned out to wish Tilman well on her special day.
