The University of Kansas has announced the honor roll for the fall 2023 semester. Students from Cherokee County named to the list include Patrick Cassidy, School of Business; Casey Soper, School of the Arts and Kate Zahm, School of the Arts, all from Columbus.

Health agency plans CPD, AED class for parents

The Cherokee County Health Department will be hosting a CPR and AED training for parents March 1, from 9 a.m until 1 p.m. at the health department. There is no cost for the class and the class is limited to eight participants.

Welcome two newest members

The Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome its newest members: Hub 308, located on S. East Avenue is owned and operated by Jack Johnson. A variety of food trucks will be available each week (one per day). Residents will be able purchase breakfast, lunch or dinner.
