Annual Farm Bureau youth pedal tractor pull winners announced
The annual Farm Bureau Pedal Tractor Pull once again this year led the opening night at the Fair on Tuesday. The winners in the four-year-old bracket were Margo Barcus in first place, Stetson Gregory in second place and third was Uri Hester.
With eight competitors in the seven year old bracket the winner was Hollis Haverkamp with a strong first place pull edging Berkley Capron into second and Cooper Hall was third.
The top puller in the 10-year-old class was Hudson Mogle, second place went to Pam Pritchard.
In a very close 6-year old pedal pull, only two inches separated the top pullers. The first place went to Jace Evans with a 35-foot 8-inch pull and Miles Reeves pulled 35-foot 6 inches. Third place went to Lyiah Lacen.
In the 9-year-old division Alec Garten won first place, Jackson Cain was second and Logan Simpson was third. The winners are qualified to compete in the pedal tractor pull at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
Only two pullers in the eight year old competition with Tyson Capron taking first place and Josh Lacen in second.
The competition was so close in the 11-year-old division they both pulled the length of the course and had to be moved to the sidewalk around the park. Ryker Saporito took first place and Kayden Fleshman was second.
Jaeclynn Fleshman was the winner of the 12 year old bracket, Trevor Lacen was second and Lydan Atkinson finished third.
Only two pullers in the five year old bracket first place when to Diann Gregory and second place went to Lincoln Atkinson. The winners are invited to compete at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
