Swimming pools throughout the county will be opening on Saturday despite the rain and cooler temperatures.
The new municipal pool in Baxter Springs will open Saturday with regular pool hours, of noon-7 p.m. daily. Admission will be $3 per person. Children 5 and under will be admitted for free accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
