Once again the Columbus Fire Department is seeking reimbursement from insurance companies when they respond to a fire or rescue call involving individuals living outside the county.
The Columbus City Council passed an ordinance in November 2020 authorizing the City Fire Department to seek reimbursement for their services, if the individuals involved reside outside the city.
