No grand prize winner this week

The grand prize in the Prizeweek Puzzle contest continues to elude those who enter the game. This week Linda Brumback was the consolation prize winner and will receive $10 in Columbus Chamber of Commerce gift certificates.

Boys State program seeks registrants

The American Legion Boys State of Kansas is now taking registrations for its 2022 session. The event is scheduled to be held Sunday, June 5, through Saturday, June 11, at Kansas State University in Manhattan.

Active shooter prep class at Highland

Columbus schools are doing their best to be prepared for the worst. Having School Resource Officer Anne Sharp and School Counselor Alison Wilkins brief the children on emergency situations.
