The Community Impact award was presented to Phyllis Abbott, a legend in the community for her knowledge, experience and leadership for decades. The award was presented by Chamber President Debbie Hopkins.
After a quite productive brainstorming session, members of the Columbus PRIDE group were able to walk away with several plans for their organization in the near future.
Discussions on renaming Discovery Park in Columbus continued as part of the City Council work session on Monday evening.
