Southeast HS cheer squad car wash set

Do you need to have your car washed and would like to support the Southeast High School Cheer Squad? The cheer squad will be washing cars Saturday, June 26 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Labette Bank in Cherokee. Get your car washed and support SHS at the same time.

Extension office to host Field Day

Cherokee County K-State Research and Extension will host a Field Day at the Columbus Research Station Monday June 28 beginning at 4:30 p.m. The field is located at 2500 NW 20th Columbus, or two miles west of the four-way stop in Columbus and two and one half miles north.

Tax sale record release approved

A resolution authorizing County Attorney Nathan Coleman to write a letter seeking the release of the delinquent property tax sale records back to the county was approved Monday. The records were given to Attorney Robert Myers in 2017 with an agreement that he do a delinquent property tax sale.
