Riverton Elementary students were honored for their academic accomplishments before school ended for the summer. Students recognized for making all A honor roll were Rebecca Webb, Ana Coleman, Kyndel Kinsley, Kynlee King, Ariel Truster and Levi Mann.

Baxter Springs Boys Scouts Ben Colbert, Jackson Schoon, Tony Hodge, Ethan Hodge, Caleb Hodge, Wyatt Salla and Hunter Carver recently painted flower pots down Military Avenue in Baxter Springs. The Boy Scout troop is known for participating in service projects around the community.
