New age groups for Easter egg hunt

The Easter Bunny will be hopping into Columbus Saturday March 28 for the annual Chamber of Commerce Easter egg hunt.This year the event will be held at the Columbus High School football field. Enter through the east entrance.There will be new age groups this year.

Maintain appearance of property

Recently discussed at a Chamber tourism committee meeting included the appearance of the Columbus community to visitors and steps that can be taken to attract and hold people in the area.
Representatives of Coffeyville Community College Columbus Campus were seated at the winning table in the decorating contest at the Annual Chamber Dinner. The theme was America’s 250 years. The table was decorated by the Columbus First United Methodist Church. CCC was also recognized during the evening for a business of the year award.

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the 98th Annual Dinner Wednesday evening, January 28, Our theme is America Is 250, to honor the United Stales of America will celebrate its ebration will recognize the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
