We all have known families where relationships are estranged. Brokenness between siblings and between generations stems from unforgiven sin. Spiteful words, hateful actions and other selfishness builds walls of bitterness too high to scale. Grudges are nursed. The words of Jesus calling us to “Be merciful” fall on deaf ears.
