Our Sunday schools, in the past, taught most of us the song “Jesus loves me this I know.” Nothing shows this more than the story of Jesus at the well with the Samaritan woman (John 4:1-45). This woman came to the well, alone and in shame. That’s because her community saw her as unacceptable.

As I look at the calendar I realize “June, National Dairy Month” is with us once again. This month brings back some special memories associated with milk. Probably the memory farthest back in my memory is that of learning to milk cows at our family farm.
