The Columbus Public Library will be open to the public, with a five person limit. Mondays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday 9 a.m-6 p.m. Thursdays 9 a.m.-6 a.m. Fridays 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon. Curbside service will be available upon request.

Milo harvest yeilds hundred bushels per acre

Fred Heistand, of Heistand Backhoe Trenching and Hauling, used his trackhoe to demolish an old apartment house on the corner of Sycamore and Indiana in Columbus. The lot is owned by John and Leah Brassart of Brassart Construction. They plan to construct two smaller homes on the site.

Race proceeds go to County school bus fund

The Butterbean McCurdy Memorial Race ran Saturday at the Muleberry County Fairgrounds. Proceeds will go to the County School Bus New Brakes and Maintenance Fund. The fans were packing in around the track.

Tamko plant constructed north of town
