    Four-year-old Marty Shanks, son of Bob and Marta Shanks, accompanied his grandmother, Lucille Shanks, to an art class at the Cherokee County Extension Office and provided expertise in teaching the class to fingerpaint. Other class participants included Florence Turner, Lodema Shafer and Olive Marie Maglaughlin.
