County Christmas parade season kicks off in City of Scammon

A decorated tractor was one of the entries i n the first Cherokee County Christmas parade of the season Sunday, December 1 in Scammon.

The parade in Scammon Sunday, December 1 was the first of the Cherokee County parade season. Among the entries travelling along the parade route was these miniature horses. Caroline Scammon was riding alongside the buggy carrying Peggy Lacoste.

With the Grinch leading the way, this young lady and her snowman travelled the parade route, passing by the Scammon city Christmas tree. The parade in Scammon Sunday, December 1 was the first of the Cherokee County parade season.

The first Cherokee County Christmas parade of the season was Sunday, December 1 in Scammon. One of the floats in the parade was entered by the First Presbyterian Church of Scammon.

Santa made is first stop in Cherokee County during the Scammon Christmas parade Sunday, December 1. He was escorted to by members of the Scammon Fire Department.
