Melvin and Prudy (Rion) Huffman returned to the scene of their wedding 70 years ago to celebrate their anniversary on Sunday.
Family and friends filled the Galena Community Center on Sunday afternoon as everyone visited with the Weir couple and recalled the years of their life.
They were married March 30, 1953 in Galena by Justice of the Peace Millard P. Knock.
