A ribbon cutting celebrating the new Baxter Springs office of Riggs Chiropractic was held by the Baxter Springs Chamber of Commerce. Visitors were treated to a tour of the newly remodeled facility and a luncheon.
The Riggs team attending the new office opening included Dr. Tyler and Dr. Kyla Riggs, Dr. Bailey Titus-Raikestraw, Sarah Gonzales and Angela Price. Riggs Chiropractic also has offices in Pittsburg and Ft. Scott.
Madeline Graham recently performed with the Kansas Music Educators Association All State 1234A Honor Band at the Century II Performing Arts Center in Wichita. Madeline is a sophomore and plays alto saxophone in the Titan Band. She was one of four alto saxophones selected by live audition from across the state to participate in the all-state honor band. Area students recently performed with the District KMEA All State Choir in Pittsburg. Janissa Marie Ferraro of Humboldt was one of those students. Ferraro also performed with the KMEA All State Honor Choir in Wichita. Ferraro is the daughter of Jason and Julie Ferraro.
