The “First Dollar” plaque was presented to Jennifer Reid, florist and Nate and Casey Long, owners of Life in Bloom and Co. by Sonja Duley at the recent ribbon cutting and open house held Friday. Life in Bloom and Co. sells fresh cut flowers, live plants and gift items. They also feature a coffee bar offering a variety of specialty drinks.
The Public Affairs committee of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce will host a “Meet the Candidates” forum on Tuesday, July 30 at the community building, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Candidates running for county and state positions will be invited to participate.
