Representatives from Rainbow Springs Solar, Clearway Energy and 15 Cherokee County landowners appeared before the Commissioners following a moratorium being placed on energy development.
The commission had already set a hearing at 6:30 p.m. on August 8, in the District Court Room for a discussion about solar panel farms. The commissioners placed the moratorium until the meeting.
