At approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 44 yearold Jeremy Maples, of Riverton.
Maples was taken into custody on allegations of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after discharging several rounds from a firearm when he became upset about others shooting fireworks.
Maples was transported to the Cherokee County Jail. He was released on $2,500 bail.
