The familiar Girl Scout kitchen will only be open Friday of Fair Week. The Girl Scout governing body has made significant changes to how the local units may operate.
As the years pass, more traditions are quickly becoming things remembered rather than things experienced. One of those traditions may be the Girl Scouts Fair Kitchen.
For many years the Columbus Girl Scouts have operated the kitchen during fair week with adult volunteers managing the kitchen and local scouts taking orders, delivering food and bussing tables.
