After 14 years of growing produce in Cherokee County Sandye Davis decided to apply for a Kansas Department of Agriculture KDA grant to help her business grow.
That decision may just put her out of business.
Last week, she received a notice from the KDA that her grant was frozen by the federal government and therefore no more payments would be forthcoming at this time.
