Missourians to perform at Crestline Baptist

A special performance by the Gospel singing group The Missourians will be held Saturday, April 25 at the Crestline First Baptist Church at 6 p.m.The Missourians have been presenting the gospel in song for over 35 years. The present quartet has one of the best sounds among gospel groups today.

Fundraiser set for cancer patient

In February 2023, Piper Weeks had a sore right foot. When she went to the doctor, he told her to get better shoes. Two months later, with the pain greatly increasing, she returned to the doctor. He x-rayed the foot and did a scan on it.

Commissioners hear health department bids

Bids were opened Monday morning for a new Heath Department building. The bids were discussed but many questions were found left unanswered.The public hearing could not be set due to the attorney needing time to research the regulations on the publishing.

Exploring the culture of ancient Egypt

Seventh grade students in Mashea Shultz English and Language Arts class have been researching cultures based on books they have been reading. Their papers are being printed in the Columbus News Report.Mummies, gods with animal heads, and ancient pyramids are things that can all be found in Egypt.
