A large turnout of local citizens attended the ground breaking for the new hall of fame addition on Friday afternoon. The building will be a memorial to one of the Hall of Fame members, Anita McColm.
A physical altercation June 30 at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the area of 11th and Keller Street, led to the notification of Galena Police.
As officers arrived on scene, one of the individuals took off on foot. While chasing the individual, he attempted to enter three residences then ended up taking a bicycle from the rider as she rode past him.
He eventually ditched the bicycle south of Baker Street…
