Omer Doncarlos Mosby, 83, Granby, Missouri, died August 19, 2024, in Granby, Missouri.
Born November 1, 1940, in Anderson, Missouri, Omer was the only child of William and Opal Bernice (Lewis) Mosby.
Omer graduated from Neosho High School with the class of 1958. After high school, he worked at Big Smith in Neosho, Missouri, where he met his future wife, Linda Giles. He then worked at Teledyne as a machinist and later as a machinist at Wenger Enterprises in Galena for thirty years, retiring in 2018.
Omer enjoyed fishing, bowling, spending time with grandsons and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Omer and Linda Giles were united in marriage December 26, 1966, at the First Christian Church in Neosho, Missouri. She survives.
In addition to his parents, Omer was preceded in death by his son Brian Mosby in July 2022.
Additional survivors include two children, Chris Mosby and Stacie Evans and husband, James, all of Neosho, Missouri; three grandsons, Austin, Brandon and Cody Evans and two granddaughters, Rebecca and Amanda Mosby.
Private family services will be held.
