Mary Lou Rogers

Mary Lou Rogers, 73, Chetopa, died at her home, early Saturday morning, September 7, 2024, after an extended illness.

Born October 10, 1950, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., Mary was the daughter of Harold and Rose (Porter) Wilson.

She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School. She owned and operated the Caboose Club in Neelyville, Mo. for 35 years before retiring. She attended the Community Bible Church in Chetopa.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her stepdad Glen Porter and two brothers, David and Junior Wilson.

Survivors include three children, Genelda Rogers of Chetopa; Brentley Rogers and wife Sheryl of rural Welch, Okla. and Timothy Rogers of Mill Valley, Calif.; a sister, Karen Deboard of Pocahontas, Ark.; three grandchildren, Ashley, Stephen and Ryan, all of Aurora, Mo.; and five great grandchildren also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas and Chenoweth Funeral Home.
