In the female over 60 division of the Columbus Days 5K run Turia Smith, West Mineral, (center) took first place honors with a time of 27.54. Kathy Richart, Carthage, Missouri, was second (at left) with a time of 28:06 and (at right) Phyllis Kelly was third with a time of 35:35.
In the female 50-59 age division of the Columbus Days 5K run Missy Proffitt, Columbus, (center) finished in first place with a time of 29:02. Loretta Bass, (left) was second with a time of 28:05 and Lynette Emmerson (right) was third with a time of 39:48.
In the male over 60 age division Russ Ritchart, Carthage, Missouri (left) finished first with a time of 27:30 in the Columbus 5K run. Finishing second in the age division was Kendall Payne with a time of 36:45.
In the male 30-39 age division Derek Haverkamp, Columbus (left) was first with a time of 29:12 and Noah Popejoy, with a time of 57:35 took second.
In the female 20 -29 age division Emily Popejoy won with a time of 57:37 in the Columbus Day 5K run sponsored by American Bank.
In the male division 5059 age Buddy Romine, Columbus, finished in 21:56 for first place in the division.
Braxton Buergin, Columbus won the male under 19 division of the 2024 Columbus Day 5K run. In a time of 25:06.
