Charles Ray Mitts, 68, Wichita, died Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Born September 30, 1956, in Columbus, Charles was the son of Lewis Everett and Bernice JewelDene Mitts, who preceded him in death along with his brother, Gene Mitts.
He graduated from Columbus Unified High School with the class of 1974 and the University of Kansas in 1978.
He married Patricia Ann Hirschmann May 24, 1980.
Charlie was the former owner and operator of Dirty-Work, providing residential cleaning services in Wichita for over 20 years.
Charlie was a caring and devoted husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by many.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Patty; two sons, Alex (Christine) and Zach (Ashley); and six grandchildren; brother, Terry Mitts of Dallas, Texas; sister-inlaw, Debby Mitts of Allen, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 16 at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary in Wichita.
