National FFA week was celebrated Thursday morning with a pancake and sausage breakfast in FFA shop at Columbus High School. The students served approximately 150 visitors pancakes and their Blue and Gold sausage. Trinity Green and Madisen Rand were serving the visitors.
The first step in approval and acceptance of the Columbus Comprehensive Plan was completed Wednesday evening.
As the Columbus Planning Commission approved the plan and sent it to the Columbus City Council for their consideration.
The passage by the planners was unanimous despite much discussion about the zoning portion of the plan.
