Just when I think I won’t read another historical fiction book about World War II, a new one is highly advertised with quotes like “a beautifully written story that sheds light on a lesser known part of World War II history”; “it blends romance, mystery and suspense against the background of war”; “another gem by Pam Jenoff”.
