A $7.5-million bond election is being held today (Tuesday) in the Galena USD 499 school district. If approved, the bond will enable the district to replace two modular classrooms at Spring Grove that house the preschool. The new building will have two classrooms, one serving as a storm shelter, and an age-appropriate playground. There is also space for future expansion behind the building....
