Carpino’s win leads CJHS Golf to third in Caney Invite

  • The Columbus Junior High School Golf Team placed third in the Caney Middle School Golf Tournament, Thursday at the Caney Golf Club. Lady Titans, Cali Carpino, Fallon Smiley, and Tyler Kirk place in the top ten individually to pick up two medals at the end of the day.     Cali Carpino, Columbus Lady Titan Eighth Grader won the girls division and tied the top medalist in the boy’s division with a score of 39 to lead the CJHS Team in the Caney Junior High Golf Tournament, Thursday, at the Caney Golf Club.Eighth Grader, Fallon Smiley and seventh grader, Tyler Kirk, placed fourth and fifth respectively in the girl’s division shooting rounds of 52 and 57....
