Heide Erica Reeves, 52, Joplin, Mo., died October 4, 2025 in Joplin, Mo.
Born October 18, 1972 in Mannheim Germany, Heide was the daughter of Bernd W. and Karin (Bracke) Bock.
Heide and William F. Reeves were united in marriage January 28, 2006 in Columbus. He survives of the home.
Heide was founder and owner of “Oma’s Cozy Creations”, a crochet business operating online as well as being a vendor at “Joplin Empire Market” and Joplin’s “Third Thursday” events.
She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. She loved her two great danes, Stoney and Zeus. She was a true master of celebration. If you were fortunate enough to be a part of her many barbecues, birthday celebrations, holiday get-togethers or Chiefs Superbowl parties, she made sure you left happy and full of good food. Her beautiful infectious smile and hospitality will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Additional survivors include a son James D. Webb and a daughter Taylor M. (Kristopher) Herring, both of Joplin, Mo.; a sister Karin “Gaby” Cool of McCool, Neb.; a brother Dieter Bock of Blue Springs, Mo.; two grand-daughters Aerilyn Webb and Adeline Herring and a grandson Archer Herring; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 10 at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial followed at Park Cemetery in Columbus.
