The Kansas house taxation committee will hear the Senate Bill 21 as presented by Cherokee County Commissioners at 3:30 p.m. Monday. The bill would allow the County to continue collecting the one-half cent sales tax originally proposed by the voters to pay the bonds which financed the building of the Law Enforcement Center.
