The competition at the Tokyo Olympics proved too much for Girard trap shooter Derrick Mein in the individual shotgun trap shooting.
Jiri Liptak, of the Czech Republic, won the gold medal in trap shooting as the Czech team took gold and silver in the event. The silver was won by David Kostelecky. Great Britain’s Coward Hollie won the bronze medal.
