The BNSF Railway will close and repair its crossing east of the U.S. 400/K-7 junction at Cherokee next week. The work is expected to begin at 6 a.m. Monday, October 25, and continue through Wednesday, October 27.
U.S. 400 will be closed to traffic at the work zone. Traffic will detour on K-7, K-103 and U.S. 69. For more information on this closure go to www.kandrive.org.
