A new central phone system is being installed at the Cherokee County Courthouse which will allow callers to select from a list of phone numbers instead of dialing direct into the offices.
The new number for all courthouse departments will be area code 620-429-9500. The County Sheriff, County Health Department and County Highway Department will continue to have their same numbers.
