Bill Wells, 97, Crestline, died June 26, 2024, died at his home.
Born June 26, 1927, on a rural farm in Crestline, Bill was the son of Fred and Daisy Mae Wells. He was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County.
Bill joined the US Army Air Corps and served during WWII in Alaska helping maintain C-47 aircraft.
He worked for 34 years at the Spencer Chemical Jayhawk plant near Crestline before retiring.
