Della Ruth Wammack, 85, Galena, died at 5:35 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
Born September 3, 1938, in Mineola, Texas, Ruth was the daughter of Henry Davis and Gertrude Anner Willingham.
She was a longtime fixture of Galena, well known as “Miss Ruth” the head-start bus driver.
